Our client is Brunei’s largest bank and flagship Islamic financial institution was formed in 2005 through the merger of Islamic Bank of Brunei and Islamic Development Bank of Brunei. As one of Brunei largest financial services providers and pioneer in Fintech space, our client has a workforce of approximately 900 employees and serves almost 50% of Brunei population.

Our client having the mission to be a digital bank of the country facing issues internally when the IT team encounters High MTTD (Mean Time to Detect) and MTTR (Mean Time to Response) on current technology stacks. The biggest problem when error reports are being generated by different systems and there’s no single point of reference in finding the root cause. This further impedes the digital transformation when no accuracy in errors investigation which will affect the customer experience on the bank.

Our Approach

The Head of Application Support of our client took up the initiative to explore a solution that enables performance monitoring on the group technology stacks. On top of the requirements of the solution is the ability to provide real-time performance issues and also detect errors deep into the source code and customer activities tracking. Embed together a centralized team dashboard to identify early issues and to work on them immediately. Dynatrace workshop is also conducted for our client’s Application Support Team to shared information on implementing the Dynatrace solutions and illustrated industry best practices.
