On October 24th, 2023, in Jakarta, Indonesia, iZeno and their esteemed partner Google Cloud held an exclusive iZeno Hands-On Lab event. We focused on doing real-time practice on how to build the future with cloud technologies.
In the ever-evolving landscape of cloud technology, staying ahead is not just a strategy but a necessity. Our recent iZeno Hands-On Lab, a seamless continuation of our Workshop event, provided an immersive experience in the Cloud Application Modernization Program (CAMP). This real-time journey through selected labs, including Introduction to Kubernetes and GKE, Deployment Pipeline using Cloud Build, and API Management Fundamentals with Apigee, was more than an event—it was a continuous exploration of innovation and cloud excellence.
The primary objective of our Hands-On Lab was to translate theory into practice. Participants weren’t just observers; they were active contributors in a real-time demo environment. The labs, carefully curated to align with the core principles of CAMP, aimed to empower participants with practical skills and insights.
The iZeno Hands-On Lab was presented by Kevin Auryn Wijaya, Application Development Manager from iZeno and in collaboration with Eryan Ariobowo, Customer Solutions Consultant from Google Indonesia.
We started our first lab session with the introduction of Kubernetes and GKE. Participants immersed themselves in the fundamentals of Kubernetes and the Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). This hands-on experience went beyond theoretical understanding, providing a tangible grasp of orchestrating containerized applications. The result? A team well-versed in the modern practices of cloud application deployment and management.
And we continued the second lab with the deployment pipeline using Cloud Build. This session has crafted a robust deployment pipeline using Cloud Build, which was a pivotal exercise. Participants not only learned the intricacies of automation but also witnessed firsthand the transformative impact on the software development lifecycle. The lab wasn’t just about knowledge; it was about empowering teams to accelerate delivery times and streamline processes.
Our last lab session was about API Management Fundamentals with Apigee. All the participants were exploring API Management Fundamentals with Apigee as a journey into the heart of digital connectivity. Participants gained essential skills in designing, securing, and scaling APIs. This knowledge isn’t just technical—it’s strategic. Mastery in API management positions teams to innovate, create new revenue streams, and enhance customer experiences in a digitally connected landscape.
To wrap up our iZeno Hands-On Lab, it wasn’t just an event; it was a continuous journey towards cloud excellence. Participants left not just with certificates but with a newfound confidence in navigating the complexities of cloud application modernization.
